"Fun" fall project for individuals, groups and families!

Between now and Dec. 1, 2009 submit this form or pick up an entry form and apples at our Apple Table.  Begin SOON as many weeks are needed to dry and complete your apple.  (We recommend Golden Delicious.)   Fall is the best time to carve while the apples are crisp and hard.  You may search on-line for "Apple Head Dolls” or check the public library for helpful hints.  You may also view our instructions here.

It’s fun to see how the apple faces dry!  This can help you decide “who” your apple will be.  (Check out our lobby display case to see one of last year’s entries.)  Apple Head Dolls must be received on or before Feb. 2, 2010. Experiment, have fun and eat your “mistakes”!  If you have questions, email info@brownsorchards.com. Select dolls will be displayed in our lobby showcase. 

Children’s entries will be considered.  Each will receive a prize.  Outstanding entry or entries will receive a gift card.  (Children need adult supervision in use of a knife.)
